In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
As an Application Developer specializing in Robotic Process Automation (RPA), you will convert business and IT process definitions into automated solutions that enhance service delivery. You will work closely with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver efficient and scalable automation solutions.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
• Design and Implement Solutions: Deliver automated solutions using various RPA tools, such as Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, UiPath, Powerautomate, and IBM RPA, with expertise in native chatbot support, NLP, OCR, and document processing.
• Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure efficient and scalable automation solutions.
• Configure and Integrate Tools: Apply programming and tool configuration skills to integrate RPA tools with other systems, including network connections and tool integration.
• Onboard and Train Team Members: As a senior RPA developer, onboard and train new team members, ensuring they understand the operational aspects of the RPA solution.
• Manage Solution Delivery: Ensure efficient and scalable automation solutions are delivered, leveraging expertise in SDLC, IDCP, and IBM Consulting Advantage platform.
• RPA Tool Expertise: Exposure to various robotic process automation (RPA) tools, such as Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, UiPath, Powerautomate, and IBM RPA, including native chatbot support, natural language processing (NLP), optical character recognition (OCR), and document processing.
• Programming and Configuration Skills: Experience working with programming languages and tool configuration to integrate RPA tools with other systems, including network connections and tool integration.
• SDLC Knowledge: Exposure to software development life cycle (SDLC) principles and practices to ensure efficient and scalable automation solutions.
• IDCP and IBM Consulting Advantage Platform Familiarity: Experience working with IDCP (IBM Delivery Central Platform) and IBM Consulting Advantage platform, consisting of Methodx, assets, and assistants.
• Automation Solution Delivery: Experience delivering automated solutions that enhance service delivery, working closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure efficient and scalable automation solutions.
• Native Citrix Automation: Exposure to native Citrix automation, including expertise in integrating RPA tools with Citrix environments to deliver efficient and scalable automation solutions.
• IVR/IVA Expertise: Experience working with interactive voice response (IVR) and intelligent virtual assistant (IVA) technologies to enhance automation solutions.
• Generative AI Features: Exposure to core Generative AI features, including content creation, summarization, classification, sentiment analysis, and code generation with internal/external large language models (LLMs).
